Outlook Pattern Release | Finished or Not Friday Linky Party | TGIFF!

This post may contain affiliate links. Thank you for your support!

Welcome to Finished or Not Friday where you can share your finished {or not} projects!

My Finish is a new pattern, Outlook, written in 6 sizes including Baby, Small Lap, Large Lap, Twin, Queen, and King!  Directions include layer cake squares or yardage, and the pattern is Accuquilt friendly {but not required}!

Outlook is named after the small town my grandparents lived in when I was a child, which was about 15 miles from our home.  I have many fond memories of time spent at their house, mostly in the kitchen and around the table and in their huge yard with the tallest maple trees ever.  They moved next door to my parents when I was about 15, and it was wonderful to have them next door during those years I was still at home.

Quilt Stats:

Pattern:  Outlook by Busy Hands Patterns
Size:  54" x 72"
Fabric:  Alison Glass Sunprints 2017 with black and white
Batting:  Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 cotton/poly
Quilting:  Hourglass on Gratitude in black thread
Backing:  An illusion hourglass print from Ikea

Outlook in Rambling Rose by Sandy Gervais is one of my favorite quilts I've ever made.  It's soothing country colors remind me so much of my mom.  This is also a Large Lap.

Quilt Stats:

Pattern:  Outlook by Busy Hands Patterns
Size:  54" x 72"
Fabric:  Rambling Rose by Sandy Gervais with the marbled deep brown from the collection and Kona Off White

And here is a mockup of Outlook in Miss Kate by Bonnie & Camille. The fabrics are ready to go, waiting for their turn on the cutting mat!

One of my all-time favorite fabric combos is Handmade by Bonnie and Camille with Moda Cross Weave in black, which reads as a deep, rich, textured gray, so I mocked it up, too!  This fabric is also ready to cut!

This is the only time during the year that all Busy Hands Patterns are half price!  Sale ends Monday.  Shop now!

All ready-made quilts are also on sale in my quilt shop!

Oh yay!!! I've been waiting (niot so) patiently for this pattern to be released. SEW excited! Alison Glass layer cake purchased in anticipation. Just need black and white fabric but needed to wait for pattern to know how much to buy.

Thanks for making my Thanksgiving even better :)
